Many investors think that sustainability automatically comes at the expense of returns – but that is a fallacy. Sustainable also means using available resources sparingly, carefully and efficiently. Companies that work in this way have a good chance of improving their return on investment as well. In addition, there is a noticeable tendency that sustainability is becoming a legal obligation in more and more areas. Bernd Claussen supports honovi INVEST with his expertise and experience in the areas of investments, treasury and financial risk solutions. His professional career spans the past 25 years at Deutsche Bank, Deloitte and the last ten years as Head of Treasury and Investments at IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG. With the important outside perspective, he delivers new perspectives, fresh ideas or draws attention to weaknesses at an early stage that we might have recognized later.
